Park Run - This is a 5km run in Princes Park, it costs nothing to take part but you must register first. See the Park Run website for more details                      

Every Saturday through Spring and Summer

Litter picking - Help keep Princes Park beautiful:

 8:30am before Parkrun or 9:45am after it . Meet at Ping Pong Table by children’s playground.

Why not take in Granby Market afterwards?

Saturday 11th

Announcing FOPP summer picnic in partnership with the Mandela Memorial Campaign. It will be on Saturday 11th August from 1.30pm and near the Henge.

It will be – bring your own food to share, though we will have  some cakes.

If you either have or know of any large tarpaulins (the larger the better) we could borrow for the afternoon, please please contact us either at

If your interested in being involved in the construction of this dry free area, please come along a bit before the picnic start time of 1.30... more like 12.30 and join in the fun and games...

Tuesday 21st

A delightful tour that discovers our oldest Victorian Park.  Designed by the great Joseph Paxton, we learn of his influence, the intriguing history of the park and we discover beautiful features, flora and fauna.  Also visit the houses and villas surrounding the park. (Easy walking).  Meet at the Sunburst Gates Princes Road 1pm  £2.00 per person
