Thank you!

From time to time you our supporters, have generously given money to help us meet our aims. Here, we would like to take the opportunity to say a massive thank you to you all, as without your donations we could not continue to help maintain and enhance the Park as we have done over the past years. We appreciate that not all would like to be publicly thanked but if you are happy for us to add your name to the list below then please contact us.

To make a donation please visit our Donate page or our In Memoriam page.

Claire Moss

Claire Moss (21st February 1979 - 19th May 2020) was from Kirkby originally but spent the last few years of her life living near Princes Park. The communal garden of her block of flats backed onto the park and she spent many happy hours there both by herself, with her friends, and with her sister, brother-in-law and nephew and niece, who have made a donation in Claire’s name towards the work of the Friends of Princes Park.

She especially loved the ‘woodhenge’ area and her nephew and niece spent many happy visits on the playground. Unfortunately Claire lost her life to cancer in 2020 but her sister hopes that whenever people visit and enjoy the park something of Claire lives on.

The Friends of Princes Park would like to thank the family of Claire for their generous donation to our funds. It is very much appreciated.

Liverpool Soroptimists

Donated money for copses of Scots pine and larch we are planting in the new year. This is specifically as part of their efforts to help the environment and to plant trees to commemorate 100 years since Soroptimists international was founded.
